Press the Middle Mouse button to place down Navigation Lines (this takes a few seconds to load). Press the Middle Mouse Button again or move the magnifying glass to erase the Navigation lines. It takes awhile for these lines to load.
These Navigation Lines correspond to the Naval Action Compass. If you follow them, they should take you where you want to go. The dotted lines are increments of 100km. Dark dotted lines are increments of 200km. Red dotted lines are increments of 500km. The knots value given in game are actually KM per minute.
